WHEN ANIMALS ADOPT TO HAVE WORLDWIDE PREMIERE ON ANIMAL PLANET Summerhill’s one-hour documentary “When Animals Adopt” which examines cross-species relationships around the world, will be premiering at the end of this month on Animal Planet Canada. The documentary is a co-production between the acclaimed PBS / WNET “Nature” documentary strand, Animal Planet Canada and Canal D for French-Speaking audiences in Quebec.  “When Animals Adopt” is a globe-spanning examination of the cross-species adoption phenomenon and asks important questions about the full range of emotions experienced by animals. The show also features distinguished animal behavior experts like Dr. Temple Grandin (one of Time Magazine’s 100 most influential people in the world) and Marc Bekoff.” “When Animals Adopt” airs November 27th at 8:00 PM EST on Animal Planet Canada.

SUMMERHILL GETS “STONED” WITH HISTORY CHANNEL [US] Summerhill Television and AETN networks are proud to announce that The History Channel (U.S) will be airing the world premiere of “The Stoned Ages”, a highly entertaining and visually sumptuous 2 hour  Special about the history of mankind’s use of drugs through the ages. Hosted by Dean Norris of the hit AMC series “Breaking Bad”, “The Stoned Ages” journeys through the millennia and looks in on some of the greatest civilizations in human history to discover if drugs helped these societies flourish or fail and whether drug use was holy or hedonistic, a savior or a curse. “The Stoned Ages” airs on September 21st at 9:00 PM EST on History Channel U.S
